Business account managers also work with a large number of customers and must ensure their satisfaction with the company. These managers must have a great deal of mental strength and be able to work with a variety of people, and they typically work indoors in an office setting with some occasional travel required.
Those in this position typically work during regular business hours, and longer hours may occasionally be necessary. A bachelor's degree in a business field is generally required for this position, and some employers may accept those with an associate's degree. The job also requires a great deal of experience in management settings and leading other staff members.
