Business operation director positions typically require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Finance and business degrees are often good fits for the position, but for specific industries such as hospitals, there can be additional or different requirements like a nursing degree or other specialized education. To reach a director level position, 7-10 years of previous experience in a similar field will be required.
