Certified registered nurse practitioners (CRNPs) are in charge of providing high-quality, timely care to patients. They are responsible for evaluating patients, managing their needs, and performing procedures as needed. One of the certified registered nurse practitioner's main responsibilities includes performing an appropriate history and physical examination based on the patient's presenting complaint. They document relevant information in the medical record, assess the patient's condition quickly, and help determine the best course of treatment. Some nurse practitioners work with a physician or physicians and must collaborate with them as well.
