They are also tasked with ensuring that the library is opened and closed on-time and the shelving of books and materials is done in accordance with the library’s filing systems.
Aspiring circulation supervisors should have in-depth knowledge of multiple filing systems, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to delegate responsibilities among employees. A positive attitude and willingness to assist both customers and employees are also necessary, and applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree in the field and two years of relevant experience.
