Job Description for Construction Engineer

Construction engineers handle engineering duties during construction projects for their company. They are responsible for ensuring that all required materials are delivered to the work site, measuring facets of construction to make sure they match construction plans, and communicating engineering concepts and ideas to construction workers and other colleagues. Construction engineers must follow safety protocols and wear safety clothing items such as a hard hat, vest, and steel-toe boots to prevent an accident. One of their main tools include a personal computer to maintain an accurate record of construction materials and also revise construction plans.
