I was fired because I was friendly with a person that was very negative and pursued a lawsuit against the company I worked with. I was pretty popular until this person left the company and threathened the law suit. Shortly, thereafter, (within 30 days) my performance was severly criticized and I was let go?? How could my standing in the firm have changed so suddenly??
