Controls project engineers work with project managers and other project leaders to design, schedule, and implement projects within the company's set parameters. They are responsible for meeting project deadlines with all the requirements of the job taken into consideration. This is a leadership role, with the controls project engineers overseeing many other employees at one time. They may be responsible for directing meetings, developing and implementing product testing, and assigning tasks to others within the project. Controls project engineers also ensure that all products and procedures conform to the company's quality standards.
