Corporate relations managers must be able to identify and build relationships with media outlets which eventually lead to a higher media outcome and strong business relationships to help build the company's image and success. Some managers may serve as spokespersons to help promote the company's service or product, and they typically work independently in an office setting, but with frequent interaction with co-workers and executives.
