A customer service administration assistant at a call center replies to customers' questions, processes orders, and directs calls to their appropriate departments. Professionals at call centers call businesses and individuals, describe products and/or services, and collect customer information; there is a high volume of calls, along with data entry, customer database maintenance, and call logs. Other duties performed by these administrative assistants may include scheduling appointments, taking memos for important calls.
