Customer service associates often need high school diploma or GED, but positions may sometimes require a college degree. Customer service associates need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as be able to work in a fast-paced environment. They should possess good typing skills, and they must be able to greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
