A dentist's office can be a hectic place in which every team member has an important role. One of the lesser-known roles in a dentist's office is that of a dental sales representative, who is responsible for ensuring that people find out about the business and become customers. They must be aggressive when searching for new clients and responsive to current clients when questions arise, and prior work experience in a dentist's office is not necessarily required, though prior sales experience is highly beneficial. Dental sales representatives must also be prepared to use a variety of methods to boost sales for the business.
