Job Description for Directional Driller

A directional driller is crucial to the energy field in this day and age. More and more oil is needed to supply the energy demands of the world, and it is being accomplished on the ground every day. Hydraulic fracture drilling, or fracking, is accomplished by many techniques, but the primary one is horizontal, or directional, drilling. You will be the one on the ground handling the machinery required to get oil out of the ground. This is definitely a manual labor position, and you will be required to perform physically demanding duties on a daily basis.
