These directors typically hold doctoral degrees in a related field and have extensive job experience, which may include the publication of scholarly articles directly related to research and analytics.


Director, Research & Analytical Services Tasks

  • Direct and manage business intelligence initiatives, data reports, and/or data modeling efforts.
  • Support executives and/or clients with targeted analytic results that meet their needs.
  • Oversee analytical services and budget, including supervising analysts and reviewing their work.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate analytical results for different audiences in different formats.
  • Manage the creation of market research reports containing industry analysis, analysis of competitors, target markets, etc.
