Job Description for Director of Catering and Convention Services

A director of catering and convention services oversees and manages the conference rooms and meeting areas for a business, typically a hotel or resort, and ensures that all events run as planned. They generally reserve conference rooms and coordinate services for groups and organizations which hold meetings, conventions, and other events on property grounds. They are also responsible for completing contracts and other appropriate paperwork to ensure quality service and meeting all legal requirements to protect the organization.
