Directors of program management in human services oversee the administrative and day-to-day operations of human service departments for their organization. They also assist in the creation of program management plans and budgets, monitor employee progress (potentially including those in off-site offices), and delegate tasks to employees and third parties assigned to a program. Directors of program management in human services generally work full time in an office setting, although overtime may be required as deadlines approach.
