Documentation Associate Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Documentation Associate?

Documentation Associate in Allentown:
"Passing Fair."
Pros: Feeling of growth and change at company; updating structures, from daily activities to departmental outlook. I have very little stress. Immediate management wants change and improvement and is willing to consider moderately creative solutions, including the introduction of flexible work schedules/telecommuting. The benefits package is antiquated, in a good way--who offers a pension, these days? Probability of moving desks is high, appears to happen every six months or so. High changeover of duties available for those interested, with the ability to move in-company every six months.
Cons: Notoriously low pay in the field. The worst training I have ever had (new management is correcting). Entrenched coworkers with low morale. While I do not experience stress, my coworkers complain of it incessantly. Lack of work, despite complaints of others about overwork. Disrespect by office staff for production staff. Disrespect by office and production staff for janitorial staff. Cube farm. Corporate culture has been stagnant in the past, and is working to get nimble; however, this takes time.
