ERP Consultant Reviews

What is it like working as an ERP Consultant?

ERP Consultant in Houston:
"Boring work that offers little satisfaction."
Pros: The prestige and perception that I make a lot of money although I do not. I also like the high level of autonomy I have.
Cons: My work feels largely meaningless. I help make processes more efficient but I'm actually eliminating jobs. ERP exists to make businesses more efficient and limit their dependency on human resources. It's boring and offers little opportunity in terms of future advancement.
