Job Description for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Supervisor

  • Maintain departmental day-to-day emergency services, monitor and prioritize EMS staff workflow and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Supervise staff and give clinical direction.
  • Assist in preparing and implementing ambulance contracts, and related policies and procedures.
  • Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of staff.
