Engineering Technician in Indianapolis:
"Start with the right company early."
Had I found this organization sooner, I could have had a pension. The pension plan was discontinued before I began employment at this company.

Engineering Technician in Grand Forks:
Understand the job behaviors in comparison to the wage. This is a mixture of Cad Management, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing design. You will need a basic understand of state codes.

Engineering Technician in Asheville:
"A Lot Of Stress, Time Away From Home And Low Pay."
Worked at my company for 8 years and have to maintain several certifications and oversee construction work for conformance with project specifications. I have to test concrete, building footings, soils, asphalt, CABC stone, bridge coatings. I have to inspect masonry, rebar placement, steel repair, excavations, pipe placement, fill placement. I have to closely document all work done by others in addition to myself. All this and I've meet masonry laborers that make several dollars more than myself and all they do is move mortar from one place to another.
