The primary role of a federal grant project manager is to oversee grant fundraising and implementation of funds. They must assess their company's needs and set goals, including milestones, time frames, costs, and potential projects. They must then create effective plans to successfully accomplish these goals. They will work to coordinate those needs with funding opportunities. They will research grant programs, build relationships within the granting community, and write proposals.
