Field representatives may complete a wide variety of tasks outside of their company's headquarters; these assignments can range from finding new employees to finding new customers to installing or fixing equipment. Regardless of the tasks performed, field representatives are responsible for reaching and building positive relationships with a large number of external individuals. Many field representatives are responsible for finding new customers; these representatives must be knowledgeable about their company's products and services, as well as able to generate interest and sales.
