Job Description for Fleet Mechanic

All companies which rely heavily on vehicles for deliveries, repair calls, and transportation services employ fleet mechanics. These mechanics are responsible for ensuring that delivery/repair trucks, taxis, patrol cars, and similar vehicles are kept in safe working condition for their drivers. They also perform regular repair work on these vehicles as needed to return non-functioning vehicles to service as quickly as possible.
