Q: What do you wish you knew about your job when you first started out?
Freelance Writer in Cameron Park:
I wish I had known that my direct supervisor, the Executive Director, really didn't trust anyone in the organization, no matter how qualified, to do their job so she felt the need to micromanage all aspects of everyone's job. This led to burnout and frustration. Two years after I joined the organization, a nonprofit, not one single person was left there, except the Executive Director, who had been there when I first came.
