Job Description for Funeral Home Attendant

Funeral attendants work in funeral homes with families of the deceased. Strong communication skills are important in this position in order to demonstrate knowledge and help clients feel at ease at all times. They may help clients choose funeral essentials, such as caskets, burial grounds, flowers, and the type of memorial to be held, so some aesthetic sense is helpful to successfully arrange and oversee services such as viewings, funeral services, burials, cremations, and memorials.
