General / Operations Manager - (City withheld for privacy), Texas, United States
When I started this job 5 yrs ago, as a "Storage Facility Manager", I had an assistant, a security and a janitorial person.

3 of them quit, So, I had been doing the total job of 4 persons, for over 14 months, my salary was never adjusted, regardless the countless times I brought it to the owner's attention.

Because I am a responsible person, I do everything myself, but I do not get any kind of benefits at all, and I am on flat salary.

In another words, now I am working an average of 17 Hrs per day, 7 days a week without compensation or paycheck increase.

I do not feel I receive a Fair Pay.

And the worst part? Department of Labor DO NOT have a maximum of hours to work per week, when in salary.

Adding value to your organization is a key to getting a raise. Improve on a procedure or implement something that didn't exist before. Then make sure your manager knows the impact it created.
