Companies that generate marketing and sales campaigns often have a graphic design manager overseeing the look and feel of these campaigns' artwork. Generally, a bachelor's degree in graphics or art design - or a similar discipline - is required for this position. Most employers also require several years of hands-on graphic or art design experience in a graphic production department as well. Graphic design managers need excellent familiarity with a variety of computer graphic design programs and the ability to train and assist employees as necessary.
