This is terrific exercise; like too many Americans I am overweight, although very fit. The work makes me euphoric, thanks to the release of endorphins. I also feel that I am in some sense "working out" the various unfinished business of my emotional life. People are very happy to see me come; grateful for the work I do; thrilled with the results, and they give high praise and talk well of me to other friends. Praise is a life-enhancing benefit. Work hours are flexible. The work gives a great night's sleep. I am FAR more satisfied with this self-employment than with my glorified TV marketing career. Stress is now nil; I'm happy and well-rounded. My time is my own. I enjoy everything I do. I leave the place much better than I found it-- terrificly satisfying. If you have to call in sick, people totally understand, and you simply re-schedule. During the work, I usually listen to National Public Radio or just do my own thinking, and I sip my coffee. So enjoyable. This isn't my only job, however; I also model for fine arts classes, act in plays, serve as a paid election official, lead childrens' workshops, dog-sit, dog-walk, and rent out my upstairs to a tenant. There are so many ways to earn a living; design-your-own is GREAT especially if you have already saved a good amount and invested in mutual funds to secure your retirement. I could not be happier.
