Job Description for Implementation Specialist, Payroll

A payroll implementation specialist ensures that all new client information is entered into their company's payroll system quickly and efficiently. If there are any issues with payroll or the information that was entered into the system, the specialist is responsible for remedying the problems in a timely manner. These specialists welcome all new clients via phone or e-mail, as well as answer client questions related to payroll and process incoming calls to the company pertaining to their area of expertise. It is in generally within the payroll implementation specialist's duties to ensure that all payroll paperwork is submitted in a timely manner to ensure all payment processes run smoothly. Depending on their business, the payroll implementation specialist may perform various clerical tasks such as answering general phone calls and assisting with recordkeeping.
