Job Description for Junior Media Planner

Junior media planners, sometimes known as "junior market researchers," are responsible for assisting businesses with advertising in many forms of media. These planners generally work in indoor office environments, though some light travel may be required for job-related meetings and conferences. While they work during regular business hours, extended hours may be required depending on their employer. A bachelor’s degree in advertising, business administration, journalism, media, or a related field is generally required. Because this is generally an entry-level position, limited experience is expected, and junior media planners generally work on teams which are supervised by more experienced planners.
