Line Service Technician (Cable/Phone/Telecommunications) Tasks

  • Test and troubleshoot cables and security systems.
  • Coordinate with partners to test plant cable facilities and maintain or replace existing sections of cable.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks for digital loop carriers, distance learning systems, and other equipment.
  • Perform on-site cable, multi-telephone, DSL, and other equipment installations.
  • Assist in groundwork and direct traffic as necessary.
