Loss Prevention Agent Reviews

What is it like working as a Loss Prevention Agent at Macy's, Inc.?

Loss Prevention Agent in Denver:
"Macy's Security Is Great Work!"
Pros: This detective position is undercover, usually full time and very exciting work. This job is great for a young person who is serious about proving themselves and they can grow in an industry that is always respected. If you expect a lot from yourself this job is for you! You gotta be tough and willing to defend yourself. MOST of all you have to be able to make the right decision under extreme stress and physical danger. You will always be expected to perform perfectly because you create alot of potential legal liability while performing your role. This is a positive and a negative.
Cons: This job gives a strong sense of ownership and it can be easy to take the theft personally or worry about losses when you are not working. When you capture a shoplifter that expresses their feelings about being captured negatively your professionalism maybe tested. You will always be expected to perform perfectly because you create alot of potential legal liability while performing your role. This is a positive and a negative.
