Postsecondary mathematical science teachers provide instruction to students in higher education on subjects such as statistics and the actuarial sciences. These instructors are responsible for developing a curriculum and lesson plans for all of their classes. They then must implement their curricula to classes of students ranging from small classes to large lecture halls.
