Job: Medical Receptionist (United States)

I started this job in 2006 of June. Everything was ok... until November... when the evening before Thanksgiving at the close of business I was fired. They said I was not Company employee material. What did that mean? I always did my work. Never missed anytime, didnt call in sick... ever. So when I was fired I was mad. I spoke to the Dr and, ended up not being fired, but got a lower pay rate... confusing to me, but I accepted. Now 1 year later the same company just did this to me again!! I always work hard, still never missed a day of work.... and they still said Fired!!! I am at a loss. I didnt deserve this. The money just wasnt coming in for the comapny and again they felt the need to let someone go.

How do we ask for a raise? Since 3 years ago everything has gone up in price but not our wages.
