Job: Mental Health Case Manager (United States)

I have a Master's Degree and am a counselor/case manager out of school. Currently I'm trying to get a new job more counseling specific but the current way that this field is going makes it difficult to make a living if you are any way involved in Community Mental Health. I feel like someone needs to take a stand. I contacted a union rep about where I work and am awaiting their input on what to do next.

One of my co-workers said it best when she said that it is our job to help empower people yet the system dis-empowers us all the time. How's that for morale?
