Natural gas schedulers are responsible for setting up gas deliveries to clients. They should have a strong background in administration and be able to work in an organized and efficient manner, and they typically work indoors in an office setting. They are also tasked with ensuring that orders are delivered to clients in a timely manner to ensure their satisfaction.


Natural Gas Scheduler Tasks

  • Maintain inventory records of movements, costs, and fees to assist with forecasting of future gas transports.
  • Monitor, record, and review balances, using equipment to adjust gauges to prevent imbalances.
  • Nominate, schedule, and manage transportation of gas to service providers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Manage requests and job proposals from potential customers, generating purchase orders.
