Nuclear medicine technologist help deliver professional, personalized, quality care for patients. They perform and analyze therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures. Conducting quality control and quality assurance procedures in compliance with state, local, and federal regulations is also expected.   • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients using radioisotope equipment under direction of physician.
  • Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist them during procedures.
  • Calculate, measure and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used and disposed, using computer and following physician's prescription.
  • Collects and analyzes data, produces a computer-generated or film image for interpretation by a physician.
