Do you feel a sense of job security? What makes you uneasy?
Nurse's Aide (Certified) - (City withheld for privacy), Michigan, United States
Do not work for a home health care agency. If you are pretty, all they will want to do is pimp you out to all their perverted patients. Go to work for yourself, instead. Print up some business cards for yourself and use them to get private cases. This way, you also get to control who you get for a patient, how far you have to drive, what days/hours you work and for how much. One of the biggest perks is that the pay rate is considerably higher- for you are saving the person who hires you a lot of $ when they can pay you $15/hr directly, rather than an agency $30+/hr for someone even less qualified than you.
