Job Description for Nutrition Counselor
  • Advise patients and clients on nutritional principles, diet modifications and food selection and preparation.
  • Assess nutritional needs to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
  • Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits and nutrition monitoring.
  • Provide educational materials support and follow-up in order to facilitate dietary changes.
