Job Description for Office Supervisor

The primary function of an office supervisor is to lead the company's staff in clerical work, telecommunications, word processing, and the filing of reports. These supervisors must ensure the quality of work performed is high, while maintaining communication on tasks' progress with other departments. Office supervisors work with outside vendors, track inventory levels, manage logistics within the department, and receive feedback on how office operations could operate more smoothly. The supervisor must also be able to communicate with customers and maintain privacy standards, as well as work with departments such as payroll.
