Job Description for Online Media Director

Online media directors manage all operations regarding a business's online portrayal in a variety of media, including online newspapers, social media, and internet publications. These directors work primarily in office settings - sometimes within the company’s office, or even in a home office - and may work often with other departments within the organization, including advertising and marketing. While they typically work traditional business hours, extended hours may occasionally be required depending on the employer. A bachelor’s degree in a field related to marketing, advertising, or business administration is generally required for this position.
