Job Description for Optometry Technician

The optometry technician usually assists an optometrist or an ophthalmologist in carrying out duties relating to dispensing eye care products for customers. It is important to be able to work well on a team. The technician may carry out pre-tests, record patient history, and perform data entry of patient records.
