Order processors/sales coordinators are in charge of coordinating sales processes and processing orders on behalf of their company. They are responsible for gathering order information and submitting order to be processed in a timely manner, as well as reviewing and processing orders from sales representatives. They verify inventory and submit requests for payment authorization before shipping. In addition, they enter sales orders received from different systems. Other tasks performed by order processors include participating in sales meetings to suggest changes to sales and processing steps based on their observations and experience, as well as responding to e-mail inquiries and telephone communications.
