Orthodontic Assistant Reviews

What is it like working as an Orthodontic Assistant?

Orthodontic Assistant in Hickory:
"Stress level."
Pros: I like that there are two different partners in the firm and uses two totally different techniques. This allows the assistants to grow in knowledge.
Cons: There are too many specific ways in detail that the doctors prefer. If they can just choose one method for each procedure or stick with the procedure asked for the previous time, appointments won't run over. The assistants always get blame for running over time, no matter the circumstances. Also the doctors often give negative feedback to assistants in front of patients and sometimes patient parents which is really embarrassing.

Orthodontic Assistant in Port Orchard:
"Care."
Pros: What I love most about my job are my patients and coworkers. Theres nothing better than helping someone fix something that is or has been bothering them.
Cons: Lack of keeping things clean wether it be my patient or even an area at the office.
