  • Choose type of casting material and method of casting, based on patient's lifestyle or preference.
  • Monitor patients' vital statistics and inform physician of any changes while performing casting procedure.
  • Assist in readjusting joint or bones in patients under direction of physician.
  • Apply and remove plaster casts for use in patient traction, based on physician's instructions.
