The architect should have acquired a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in architecture. The architect will have to design different buildings, depending on the type of work that the firm carries out. The buildings can be homes, public facilities, or skyscrapers. The partner will usually be present during the design and planning phase to make sure that buildings are progressing as they should. It may often be necessary to pitch proposals to various individuals and companies who want to build, so marketing skills are important.
