Ever asked for a raise?
Pharmacy Manager - (City withheld for privacy), Michigan, United States
A company must do yearly evaluations or predetermined time spans and each employee must never have to ask for a pay raise, unless their appraisal is not adequate, Unless evaluations are not done, most people feel the boss is either to busy or doesn't care. Both parties need to be completely timely and loyal. Employees also need to check what the competition offers and also the work environment. We all need to stress the demand for the occupation of the employee, the years on the job, both at present and past positions and what is skills are retained. Job flexibility has almost unlimited value. Additional combat pay, most companies pay this out in one way or another. Employers must also realize the value of the employee and there is more than one way to express this value.
