Job Description for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Technologist

  • Perform complex PET exams and transmission scans, consulting with Radiologist for appropriate scan procedure.
  • Review and evaluate computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and reactions during scan, reporting abnormal signs to physician.
