Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Technologist Tasks

Perform complex PET exams and transmission scans, consulting with Radiologist for appropriate scan procedure.
Review and evaluate computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment.
Monitor patients' conditions and reactions during scan, reporting abnormal signs to physician.
