Principal mechanical engineers are responsible for providing effective mechanical solutions to company equipment. They are in charge of fixing industrial machinery that is needed for production. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is needed for this position. In addition, several years of experience in a comparable position are required. Safety and mechanical certifications are helpful.
