Q: What do you wish you knew about your job when you first started out?
Project Management Director in Albany:
"Making a difference."
When you perform project management, there is the private side that involves making a profit. Working within a university setting, keeping within budget is important but updating and building new infrastructure to support students which some day will be the leaders of tomorrow is very satisfying. It is nice to hear students from time to time mention that a campus was very friendly and supportive in preparing them for the future.
Project Management Director in Spokane:
"Leadership Training Skills."
Be teachable and realize you do not know what you do not know. Be a sponge when you begin of those who go before you.
