Job Description for Property Management Accountant

  • Monitor all billing aspects of lease administration.
  • Record transactions and adjustments that impact the portfolio including debt agreements, purchase and sales contracts, and joint venture agreements in the general ledger.
  • Facilitate property audits.
  • Prepare financial reports including journal entries, financial statements, depreciation, management fees, bank reconciliations, variance comments, and lease abstracts.
  • Assist in creating the annual operating budget.
